New Construction

The building and site work in harmony to celebrate the natural amenities and features of the site. The building’s features include a leisure pool, competition pool, sauna, whirlpool, fitness and weight-training rooms, locker rooms, child care area, and a multi-purpose room.

The site’s trails connect to an extensive natural conservation and stream valley area that provides habitat for wildlife. Existing site features such as old growth forest, rock and boulder outcroppings, grasses, and wildflowers remain, and can now be appreciated by RECenter visitors.

The facility was conceived as an open and airy structure that visually connects to the outside, bringing controlled daylight and views into the interior pool environments. Users of the leisure and competition pools, as well as the fitness area, have extraordinary views out to nature. The fun of the water slides and splash buckets can be seen from outside, while the connectedness to the surrounding environment supports wellness within.
