104 Units

1234 McElderry is an exciting beginning to the redevelopment of the long-vacant Somerset and Old Town neighborhoods in downtown Baltimore. Helping to reduce the need for affordable housing in the city, 1234 McElderry will provide 104 affordable housing units in a walkable setting close to the city’s amenities. Other mixed-use buildings, retail spaces, and a new public park will infill the remaining urban blocks and connect to surrounding neighborhoods.

1234 McElderry hosts spacious 1, 2, and 3-bedroom units, two private elevated courtyards, a fitness center, club room, and retail space. Each unit features open kitchens, spacious bedrooms, modern finishes, and large windows that flood units with ample natural light.

Nearby on an adjacent block, 420 Asquith Street will break ground on another portion of the Somerset Redevelopment. The Asquith will feature a fun, fresh, mixed-use affordable housing development with exciting retail.

Finished with modern brick accents and bright red panels, McElderry is an attractive new development with gorgeous interior finishes and fantastic amenities. This project acts as an example of high quality housing that serves all.

Grimm and Parker was instrumental in establishing their team, building a foundation of communication and collaboration with the community, city agencies and owner stakeholders throughout the project.
