The Ashburn Senior Center is located on a partially wooded parcel with an existing stream. The design takes advantage of this natural setting and provides views and access to this attractive site while creating a light filled hub for this active senior community.

Upon entering the 16,000 sf Senior Center, users are greeted with a light filled lounge and coffee bar. This area has a variety of seating for visitors to relax and enjoy a coffee while waiting for friends.

Traveling along the north corridor users will find the dance studio, fitness center, billiards room, computer lab, and art rooms. Each space is filled with natural daylight and host a variety of activities throughout the day. The billiards room has a covered exterior patio where one can relax while waiting for their turn on the tables. The art rooms enjoy access to a northern patio that overlooks the wooded site and the enhanced water feature. In the north corridor is where one will find the gallery space where all the art projects can be displayed.

Along the east corridor one will find the club room and multipurpose rooms. The club room, with its stone fireplace, has become the go to location for card games, mahjong, or just socializing with friends. The multipurpose rooms access a large patio that overlooks the water feature. These rooms also host the most popular activities in the facility. Whether it is the rousing pickleball action or the daily lunches these rooms are active all day.
