Mel is a Partner at Grimm + Parker who brings 35+ years of leadership with expertise in large-scale urban infill mixed-use residential, multi-family affordable, multi-family market rate, transit oriented and student housing projects. As a Partner, Mel champions Grimm + Parker’s design philosophy of Creating Together Meaningful Residential Architecture for Client Success. Mel prides himself on working together with clients, municipalities, and communities as they work through entitlement, programming and planning, stakeholder involvement, the preparation of design and construction documents, and construction phase services.
Mel’s design leadership has guided G+P to win over 20 national and regional housing design awards. He had served on the design juries for the UMD School of Architecture and partnership on The Capital Impact Partners Equitable Development Initiative.
