Julia brings over 16 years of diverse architectural and interior design experience through her work on civic, cultural, educational, and institutional projects. She has become an expert at discovering the specific needs and wants of each client and project as she facilitates collaboration and decision making across diverse groups of stakeholders and community members.
With a degree in architecture and a passion for interior design, she understands the complexities and opportunities of approaching a project holistically – simultaneously designing from the outside in and from the inside out. She believes the most successful projects are ones that meet a client’s present needs, plan for an unpredictable future, and are equally beautiful and as they are functional – inside and out.
Julia loves programming, space planning, selecting finishes and furniture solutions and most of all - engaging stakeholders and communities at all phases of a project from kick-off, through construction, to opening day festivities.
As G+P’s library expert, Julia makes it a point to visit the local public library in every city she travels to across the county, most often with her husband and two kids.
